Your new role
As the Senior Business Analyst, you will be working closely with the Project Manager to assist in 2 very significant programs of work including Mobile Workforce and Digital Workforce currently being undertaken by SAPOL IS&T. It will be critical that you have previous experience working at a portfolio level to ensure you have the holistic portfolio overview.
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible to work across multiple projects and deliver the following:
- Stakeholder education and coordination
- Business process and data modelling
- Requirements management
- Identification and documentation of required business and system changes
- Coordination of the required solution changes including, as relevant, Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) products, custom developed solutions, and other solution components (including Workflow, Reports, and Interfaces)
- Provision of advice to managers and project steering committees in relation to project initiatives
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of this portfolio as you will play a vital role in supporting the Director to ensure a smooth delivery of work alongside project officers, managers and team members
What you'll need to succeed
- Significant proven experience as a Business Analyst on major software implementation projects incorporating requirements management, business process analysis/modelling/prototyping and information analysis/modelling
- Proven experience in the delivery of major software implementation projects with significant business and systems change including integration and working across the entire System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from initial analysis through to implementation/release
- Experience with solution design/UX design and knowledge of M365 product suite is highly desirable
- Ability to elicit ICT business requirements, conduct in-depth analysis and investigation, and maintain documentation (including technical documentation) of business change needs
- Strong business acumen with the capability to analyse dependencies within a complex environment
- Demonstrate excellent engagement skills with a wide range of stakeholders and maintain positive relationships with key vendors
- Proficient with producing various analysis artefacts and user stories
- Demonstrated ability to represent processes, data, information flows and solutions used with industry-wide modelling techniques and standards.
- Achieve positive project outcomes using excellent verbal and written communication
- State Government experience would be highly beneficial
Salary
ASO7 $106,512 to $115,137 per annum plus super.
