About the Role:
The Policy and Project Support Officer role is an exciting professional opportunity for a policy or project officer to join the National Relations and Policy team. The National Relations and Policy team develops and delivers high-quality strategic policy advice to support executive, Chief Executive and Ministerial participation in intergovernmental matters and forums. We aim to have a positive impact on the national agenda, on relevant state government portfolios, strategic Policy and the people we work with, to contribute to better outcomes for South Australian children and young people.
The Policy and Project Support Officer is responsible for undertaking and coordinating a range of efficient administrative functions and providing project and policy supports for the IGR team and other teams within the National Relations and Policy Directorate.
The role requires effective communication skills and the ability to monitor and coordinate activities to manage sensitive and time-critical matters, and a commitment to a culture of business improvement.
Qualifications:
Desirable: A qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
Special Conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:
ASO4 $75,430 - $79,070 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation
