Our services improve the education and development outcomes for children right through to their transition to adulthood, reflecting our commitment to support every child towards their aspirations. Working with a broad range of stakeholders, Skills SA plays an important role by:
- Matching the state’s current and anticipated employment demands with training.
- Ensuring employers can access workers with skills required to run and grow their business.
- Ensuring South Australians can get the quality training that will help them find a job and build a career.
In this context the Senior Compliance and Investigations Officer contributes to the effective regulation of South Australia’s traineeship and apprenticeship system by identifying, addressing and resolving compliance matters, leading investigations into highly sensitive and complex breaches of the South Australian Skills Act 2008 and recommending appropriate enforcement options.
Qualifications:
Desirable: A tertiary qualification in government regulation and/or investigation or equivalent experience.
Special Conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:
ASO6 $97,022 - $102,626 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation.
