Job Summary
The Senior Compliance Officer is our lead for CTP Insurer compliance management activities. The role is responsible for leading and project-managing insurer audits, preparing audit reports and recommending appropriate regulatory response to identified non-compliance. Accurate record-keeping of compliance-related decisions and documentation is a key element of the role. The role is accountable to the Manager, Scheme Compliance.
To be successful in the role, you will have an ability to exercise evidence-based, balanced judgement, demonstrate a high level of professionalism, deal with sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy, and maintain confidentiality. Being able to act impartially and operate within the boundaries of organisational processes and legal and public policy constraints is also essential.
A working knowledge of the legislation and regulations governing CTP Insurance operations will be an advantage in performing compliance activities with assurance.

The CTP Regulator has oversight of monitoring and reporting CTP Insurer activities and is responsible for the premium setting process. Requirements and Special Conditions
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in all compliance activities and facilitating complex investigations and understanding of regulatory frameworks in the context of legislative and regulatory powers.

Remuneration
Classification: ASO6
Salary Range: $97,022 - $102,626
