About the Role
The Manager, Site Engagement is responsible for the operations and coordination of effective Site Engagement processes to ensure the successful implementation of department strategies and initiatives within the Department for Education’s Site Engagement team. This role requires a comprehensive knowledge of education contexts in both corporate and school and preschool functions and operations.
The Manager, Site Engagement leads the corporate office team in providing high level advice and coordination of engagement activities with sites to implement departmental strategies and initiatives effectively. The incumbent provides high quality leadership within the Priority Learners directorate, ensuring that department strategies and programs enhance site improvement, operations and learning outcomes for all students. Working with the Operations Manager, the incumbent will lead the Site Engagement team to coordinate effective engagement practices with sites to ensure successful implementation.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration
ASO7: $106,512 - $115,137 per annum plus superannuation
