Asphalt Production Supervisor

Permanent role for an Asphalt Production Supervisor at our Asphalt & Recycling Plant in Wingfield, SA. Tool of Trade Vehicle included.

An excellent opportunity is available for an AsphaltProduction Supervisor to assist in the coordination of the daily operations of the asphalt and recycling production facilities in Wingfield, SA. Reporting to the Production Manager, the key focus of this role is to maintain our position as an industry-leading producer of asphalt; whilst focusing on our sustainable recycling streams in a growing market. Whilst ensuring our commitment to safety is at the forefront of all that we do. We will also consider operational candidates who are ready to take the step in their careers.

Essential Qualifications:

• Previous experience in operating an asphalt or recycling plant
• Demonstrated ability in stock control and raw material deliveries
• Bobcat and Front End Loader tickets
• Current General Construction Induction card
• A strong commitment to a Zero Harm culture

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in managing a small team and drive process improvement initiatives
• Strong machinal aptitude within the production areas including fixed plant and mobile machinery
• Demonstrated ability to run toolbox talk, pre-starts and team meetings
• An understanding of the chain of responsibility
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients
