The role 

The Aspire 2.0 Project Manager will play a key role in delivering the Aspire 2.0 Project for WAPHA ensuring it is a business led project with highly successful change management so that all business benefits can be realised. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Cloud Project Manager to lead the successful implementation of Aspire (Oracle Cloud solutions) within WAPHA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, extensive knowledge of Oracle Cloud Fusion products, and a proven track record of delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget. Organisation skills are critical to this role along with strong project management experience and be able to lead change directing the work of others. The role will also require ability to frequently develop resolutions to complex problems that require creativity in the development of new process & methods.

This role will be offered as an on-going position on a full-time basis and offers the flexibility to work from home and office.

Key tasks and responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of Aspire (Oracle Cloud Fusion solutions), including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Oracle Cloud Applications (SaaS), and Oracle Cloud Platform (PaaS).
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and project team members.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
  • Manage project budget, expenses, and financial forecasts to meet cost targets and maximize ROI and to realise business benefits.
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams, including internal staff, external vendors, and consultants, to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and status updates to communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues through proactive risk management and problem-solving.
  • Ensure compliance with WAPHA’s PMO framework, Prince 2 project management methodologies, best practices, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

About you

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following selection criteria:

Essential experience, skills, and education 

  • Tertiary qualification in related field.
  • Exceptional project management skills and demonstrated project management experience. across a variety of IT projects (ERP, bespoke applications, cloud SaaS applications). 
  • Demonstrated leadership experience of cross functional teams.
  • User centricity to lead a business-driven project with a technical delivery team.
  • Problem-solving skills including an ability to identify and solve problems efficiently through critical thinking and analysis.
  • Decision making skills including an ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Agile scrum delivery project management experience
  • Project Management certifications – PMP or Prince 2
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Solid understanding of ERP systems, their functionalities, and how they integrate with various business processes. This includes knowledge of modules such as finance, human resources, supply chain, projects, budgeting, and planning.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing, software development lifecycle, and technical aptitude.

Desirable experience, skills, and education 

  • Oracle Cloud Fusion product knowledge or demonstrated experience.
  • Certifications - ADKAR Change Management, Agile Scrum 
  • Change management experience
  • Health sector knowledge and experience
