We are actively recruiting for an Asset Care Lead to drive standardisation, governance and optimisation of asset management practices, processes and systems across our broader concrete asset network. Responsible for whole of life asset management, the Asset Care Lead role can be based in Sydney, Brisbane or Melbourne. Some travel will be required to site locations in order to engage with operational stakeholders and drive efficiencies and improvements.
Your day will involve:
- The development and maintenance of Asset Specification and Rebuild & Replacement policies to meet business operational requirements.
- Partnering with regional Asset & Operations teams to achieve annual Asset Management Objectives
- Enhancing capability in regions to perform Asset Management Practices in line with the Boral Operating Model and standards.
- Reviewing and optimising critical assets preventative maintenance program in CMMS to deliver the safe, compliant, reliable, and optimised operation of Concrete assets
- Implementing regular review of owned and hired asset utilisation to optimise the asset portfolio and optimise overall asset utilisation.
- Driving regions to follow Boral standard work management practices and tools to achieve maintenance efficiency that translate into increase in plant OEE and reduction in repair and Maintenance spend.
- Developing process to enable effective tracking and reporting of Asset Repairs and Maintenance spend and Plant and Equipment hire cost aimed and optimising spend in these categories.
- Leading a network of regional Concrete Asset Managers to develop and implement strategic asset management plan.
What are we looking for?
- Engineering degree preferred or trade background with significant maintenance and asset management experience.
- Commercial & Technical experience in maintenance in heavy industry such as mining and heavy manufacturing.
- Demonstrated experience leading transformation and changes in asset management processes, practices and systems at enterprise or business unit level.
- Demonstrated experience engaging and delivering outcomes at multiple levels within an organisation from senior leaders to frontline operators.
- Leadership experience as maintenance or asset manager.
- Deep understanding of maintenance and asset management processes such as work management (e.g. planning and scheduling), maintenance Strategies, Root Cause Analysis, Maintenance KPIs, maintenance budgeting.
- Good understanding and experience using Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Maximo.
