Main Duties
As the Asset Engineer, your responsibilities will include but not limited to; engaging and managing of the interface with operational engineers and network inspectors, managing to interface with the client and negotiating with stakeholders, maintaining and updating data and graphics on the specific systems, providing accurate and timely information for planning and project development, and reviewing & reporting of asset condition and trends to identify network needs.

- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a construction related qualification.
- 4 + years post-graduate experience preferably in a maintenance environment working within Asset Management.
- Previous experience and knowledge around asset management of a Roading network, ideally in road maintenance.
- Sound knowledge of solution specification, product knowledge, costing of solutions, life cycle of products and solutions.
- An understanding of Asset Data, Asset Register and data manipulation.
- Knowledge and experience in databases and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and relevant management/information systems and data used in maintenance planning to analyse data, evaluate outputs and prepare reports.
- A practical-minded hands-on approach coupled with excellent communication and people skills.
- Attractive remuneration package from $90K - $130K + super dependent on experience.
