About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and proficient Asset Improvement Engineer to oversee the implementation of strategic Life of Asset initiatives. This position involves a diverse set of duties, with a primary focus on enhancements in control systems, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation aspects.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Participate and lead multi-discipline engineering projects for Asset Improvement and integrity.
- Provide technical support to maintenance teams for enhanced efficiency.
- Craft tender scopes and align CMMS with Inspection Records for streamlined processes.
- Monitor inspection quality, ensuring compliance with set standards.
- Define, review, and approve preventative maintenance programs.
- Implement asset management and maintenance improvement programs for optimal plant reliability.
- Develop and manage medium-to-long-term asset management plans aligning with business objectives.
- Administer project/program budgets efficiently, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Support Operations in project execution through maintainability analysis and readiness activities.
- Conduct life cycle costing analysis to determine optimal asset strategies.
About you:
Preferred candidates will have:
- Hold a Mechanical Engineering degree
- Experience in asset management which covers preventative and life of asset management strategies
- Ability to work in a multi-discipline environment
