An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Asset Management Coordinator to join City Parklands in a permanent, full-time position.
As the Asset Management Coordinator, you will support the Projects and Assets Manager to undertake strategic Asset Management planning and delivery of Asset Management plans for all sites under management. As well as:
- Responsible for the accurate recording, analysis, and maintenance of large quantities of data to inform asset performance against agreed levels of service.
- Responsible for coordinating the development, implementation, management and review of the Asset Management System (AMS) and Asset Management Plans (AMPs) to ensure it is current and operationally effective.
- Prime author of the Asset Management Plans (AMPs), the role will ensure Asset Management and maintenance plans are documented and measured to align with site specific requirements and Commercial Agreements
- Lead and support Asset Officer in site asset administration support and data auditing and training.
- Responsible for maintaining Critical assets registers for the respective sites to support City Parklands focus on a risk management approach in managing assets, with maintenance, inspections and works underpinning the governance of Asset Management.
- Audit asset inspection frequency’s ensuring assets with a lesser condition have Maintenance Plans to reflect more frequent and rigorous inspections and maintenance programs.
- Coordinate CAPEX/OPEX forecasting, liaising with Managers, accountants and operational teams to identify and inform budgets, reporting and support to ensure maintenance and minor capital program outcomes are achieved.
- Deliver AMS training as required for City Parklands team members and Stakeholders.
- Link safety incidents to asset data in the AMS.
- Review and audit asset lifecycle renewals, replacement costs and forecasts to maintain agreed Levels of Service.
- Competent in CAD system.
- Monitor and maintain the following documents and reports:
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Experience in managing and maintaining Asset Management Systems or similar databases and software systems, standards and practices, file formats and data migration activities.
- Demonstrated Asset Management analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, together with the ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvements to software & data systems to better support Asset Management processes and planning.
- Strong communication, negotiation and collaborative skills across multiple asset classes.
- Experience developing and maintaining Asset Management plans across multiple sites identifying key metrics required to monitor and maintain assets to agreed levels of service.
- Able to engage and consult with asset owners to identify, report and implement strategies that deliver required levels of service within the Asset Management system.
- Experience with a diverse range of asset classes.
- Computer skills (Word, Asset Management System, advanced Excel, AutoCAD).
- Experience in the AMS Pinnacle desirable, experience managing and maintaining an Asset management system is essential.
- Tertiary qualifications in Asset Management or engineering desirable but not essential.
