Duration: 3 months + extension if required
Rotation: 2 days in office (Wed/Thurs), other days flex WFH
Working within a tier 1 Mining operator out of Brisbane, as the Asset Management Planner you will be supporting the delivery of the planning and scheduling work in accordance with the maintenance strategy and operating plan as per Work Management Process to ensure downtime, waste and cost are minimised and resource utilisation maximised. You will monitor asset health and provide predictive analytics to develop, deliver and continuously improve maintenance work planning for Operations.
Your duties will include:
- Plan and prioritise work in line with the major events calendar by verifying equipment/resource availability, capability and condition and identifying safety requirements.
- Deliver sequenced work packages for complex maintenance activities.
- Prepare budget and forecast outage durations in the 2-5yr horizon.
- Review strategies, PM01 historical data to develop forecast.
- Plan work in accordance with the 1SAP Work Management process, accurately identifying the required components and resources prior to scheduling.
- Engage specialist resources (where required) to support the completion of complex work.
- Liaise closely with Supply to ensure parts and materials are delivered on time.
- Improve SAP Master Data when required.
- Review planned work developed by Work Management Planners to ensure sequencing is correct
- Support technical and process development of the broader team.
- Experience with SAP or similar maintenance planning software preferred but not essential
- Demonstrated hands on planning and scheduling skills and an understanding of work management processes will be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a number of key stakeholders
- Adaptable and able to work in a continuously changing environment
- Process driven with an enthusiasm for identifying improvements and efficiencies
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A trade or engineering background with strong project management capabilities preferred not essential
- Technical knowledge of Equipment including Fixed Plant and Wash Plant
- An understanding of condition monitoring and asset health principles.
- Awareness of Cost Management and Forecasting Processes.
