About the role:
Reporting to the State Director, this newly created role is responsible for the delivery of administration services across QLD. The successful candidate will manage and provide both formal and informal supervision to a team of administrators.
Other key responsibilities:
- Undertake and provide supervision across all general secretarial tasks, including word processing of letters, minutes, report and presentations to ensure documents are accurate and in the correct format.
- Ensure the administration team respond to and allocate telephone calls to staff as appropriate.
- Ensure all financial enquiries are responded to promptly and efficiently, including processing of placement billing, customer invoices, supplier payments, credit and virtual cards and expense reimbursements.
- Monitor and review systems of record in line with statutory and agency requirements, e.g. Working with Children Checks.
- Be culturally aware and competent and respond accordingly when dealing with staff, carers and children with different cultural backgrounds

About you:
- Bachelor, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Business, Commerce or related fields.
- Prior experience in a manager or supervisory capacity.
- Demonstrated years of experience in an office setting, working in management/sales/marketing/business development.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Teams and advanced Excel skills.
- Prior experience using business and financial reporting software, e.g. MYOB Advances and Prospend.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in partnership with a wide range of stakeholders.
- High level of customer service skills, reliability and ability to influence and achieve results.
