Asset Management Systems Advisor

Reporting to the Asset Management Supervisor, the Asset Management Systems Advisorwill play a crucial role in optimizing WesTrac's Computerised Maintenance Management System, AMT. Their main responsibility involves acting as the key point of contact and subject matter expert on the system for internal stakeholders, such as IS, Forecasting, Pricing, and Business Group Managers.

Duties will encompass training users, overseeing AMT helpdesk requests and support issues, monitoring system performance, and promptly notifying the AM Supervisor of any 'System Health' concerns.

Additionally, they will ensure a seamless integration between CMMS and our Enterprise Resource Planning Software (DBS), while suggesting continuous improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Their insights and recommendations will play a vital role in guiding the company toward achieving its strategic goals through the effective utilization of CMMS.

About you:

• Demonstrated experience in providing support for maintenance applications, including testing for software issues.
• Fast learner that can process subject matter quickly and roll out new system functions to users.
• Ability to create and support reports with tools like Power BI, Tableau, Data Studio
• Involved in the implementation, upkeep or modification of API's or Integration type projects.
• Strong aptitude in general computer applications across MS Office or the ability to understand new software and adapt quickly.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills, including communication planning.
• Demonstrated experience in working well in a team, and a self-starter that has initiative for learning and growth.
• Ability to plan appropriate solutions with a customer-centric approach.

Desirable:

• Prior experience with Computer Maintenance Management Systems like AMT, IBM Maximo, SAP EAM, Infor EAM, Dynamics 365 etc
• IT Education background - Degree in IT, with knowledge of database structures.
• Previous use of Python and/or SQL to create reports and design business solutions.
• Sound Mechanical understanding
• Workshop and Field Service Operations understanding
• Project Management skills
• Financial Operations knowledge
