Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of effective asset management practices, including data collection and risk management.
- Contribute to the review and reporting of the organization's Asset Management Strategy and Implementation Plan.
- Collaborate with service units and stakeholders to develop and improve Asset Management Plans.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Asset Management Systems.
- Facilitate yearly Infrastructure Asset Revaluations and contribute to 10-Year Capital Works Renewal Programs.
- Provide specialist advice and reports on asset management business processes, strategies, and systems.
- Conduct site inspections to maintain the asset knowledge database and ensure data accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation and management of infrastructure asset surveys and audits.
- Provide expert advice and support to staff and customers on asset-related matters.
- Maintain safe work practices in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
Qualifications:
- Sound knowledge in infrastructure asset management.
- Demonstrated experience in asset management principles and practices.
- Skills in time management, prioritization, and organization.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge and experience with computerized database systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with safe work practices.
Desirable Criteria:
- Working knowledge of Local Government procedures.
- Experience with risk assessments and management.
- Familiarity with ASPEC Data Specification and GIS technologies.
- Knowledge of statutory requirements relevant to Civil Construction & Building Industry.
The successful candidate must have:
- Satisfactory National Police Certificate.
- Valid Driver's License.
- White Card Safety Awareness Training.
