Linear Clinical Research is an internationally recognised clinical trial company and is at the forefront of human breakthroughs, contributing to scientific discovery and advancement through world-leading clinical human trials and medical research.Our brand new, state-of-the art clinical trial suites span across two locations, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Joondalup with our corporate offices based in Nedlands and our Facilities Management and Assets Management team play a vital role in ensuring that these facilities are well-maintained, safe, functional and provide a positive experience for our patients and participants.We now have an opportunity for a Facilities and Assets Officer to join this team on a full-time basis working across all our sites.Job DescriptionYour role in our futureIn this role, you will work closely with the Facilities & Assets Manager and Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator to assist with the effective delivery of facility maintenance services across all Linear sites. In this customer service led role, you will support staff across a diverse range of asset groups and will be responsible for establishing, monitoring, and adhering to preventative maintenance schedules for equipment assets to ensure Linear teams have well serviced and maintained operational assets.A full list of responsibilities can be found in the but some of your duties will include;
- Monitor security access requests, prepare and issue access cards/keys and maintain records
- Prepare equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate all asset management activities via the CMMS
- Schedule and perform asset audits across all Linear asset groups.
- Ensure that asset records are kept up to date and maintenance efforts are aligned to strategic priorities and budgets.
- Proficient with use of computers and a range of computer systems.
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, communications, consultation, and negotiations skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of multi-disciplinary team with well-developed time management and work planning skills.
- Knowledge and practical experience in general procurement and purchasing practices with familiarity in raising purchase orders and receipt of invoices.
- A personal vehicle that you are willing to use for work purposes with a current unrestricted Driver's license.
- Tertiary qualification in facility/property or asset management - desirable
