About the Opportunity

At PMHC every employee plays a part in ensuring we work together to achieve positive outcomes for our community. To help us achieve this we are seeking Asset Officers and Senior Asset Officers to join our Community Infrastructure and Community Utilities Planning and Design Teams. There are currently four roles on offer including:

  • Asset Officer (Community Utilities)

This role will support the strategic asset management of the Council's water, sewer, and waste assets in alignment with Council's objectives, it is essential to provide the necessary technical specifications for the asset system.

  • Asset Officer (Community Infrastructure)

This role will facilitate strategic infrastructure planning and asset management for the Council's Community Infrastructure (including transport, stormwater, and overland flood assets), it is crucial to provide the requisite technical requirements for the asset system.

  • Senior Asset Officer (Community Utilities)

This role will effectively coordinate the strategic asset management of the Council's water, sewer, and waste assets to align with Council's objectives, and to support the development of the Council's Asset Management Policies, Strategies, and Plans pertaining to Utilities' assets within the framework of the Council's Resource Strategy and Delivery Program.

  • Senior Asset Officer (Community Infrastructure)

This role will effectively coordinate the strategic infrastructure planning and asset management of the Council's transport and stormwater assets, and to align the requirements for the efficient execution of strategic asset management for these assets. Additionally, to support the development of the Council's transport and stormwater Asset Management Policies, Strategies, and Plans within the framework of the Council's Resource Strategy and Delivery Program.

Remuneration and Benefits

Employment Type: Full time, Permanent 35 hours per week

Asset Officer (Community Utilities)

Salary (exclusive of super): In the range of $72,244.80 to $81,285.84 depending on skills and experience.

Asset Officer (Community Infrastructure)

Salary (exclusive of super): In the range of $72,244.80 to $81,285.84 depending on skills and experience.

Senior Asset Officer (Community Utilities)

Salary (exclusive of super): In the range of $83,843.64 to $94,377.60 depending on skills and experience.

Senior Asset Officer (Community Infrastructure)

Salary (exclusive of super): In the range of $83,843.64 to $94,377.60 depending on skills and experience.

The Community Infrastructure Planning and Design Team

Sitting within the Community Infrastructure Division, the Planning and Design team are responsible for the identification, prioritisation, planning, programming and management of the Councils range of transport, stormwater, flood, bridge and structural assets, to ensure that they meet relevant technical and legislative requirements and that they cater for the needs of our growing community and economy.

The Planning and Design Team consist of a passionate and diverse range of subject matter experts and project managers, and are supported by a Customer Relations Team, who manage community enquiries and notifications regarding our planned and programmed works.

The Community Utilities Planning and Design Team

The Utilities Planning & Design team is part of the Community Utilities Division and comprises of skilled and passionate individuals dedicated to overseeing the management and custodianship of our portfolio of community utilities assets valued at over $1billion.

Our diverse utilities portfolio includes water and wastewater treatment plants, transfer and reticulation networks and waste management facilities. The team holds the responsibility for the identification, prioritisation, planning, programming and management of these assets, to ensure that they meet relevant technical and legislative requirements while addressing the needs of our expanding community and economy.
