Attractive permanent opportunity for Strategic Asset Officer to join a thriving Local Government Council and undertake an exciting role in NSW.
Your new role
As a Strategic Asset Engineer, you will report directly to the Strategic Asset Coordinator and you will be responsible for maintain the asset renewal programme as well as developing the asset manager plan.
These responsibilities include preparing the annual and long-term capital works, maintenance and operational programs using available Asset knowledge (processes and procedures, asset data, asset condition, performance, risk, funding, customer needs and standards) for all assets.
You will be responsible for ensuring of marking the assets selected for treatments and prepare pricing sheets as part of Capital renewal Works Program as well as undertaking Asset profile, criticality and risk assessments and ensure that the risks for assets are recorded, updated, and maintained in an asset risk register.
What you'll need to succeed
Tertiary qualifications in Asset Engineering/Asset Management/Facility Management with minimum 5 years’ relevant experience.
Demonstrated knowledge in the development and maintenance of Asset Management Plans, Asset Management Strategy and Asset Management Policy
Highly developed interpersonal skills
