Your Opportunity
Primero is seeking an experienced Plant & Equipment Coordinator / Supervisor for our project based in Kalgoorlie on a 2:1 Roster. The point of hire for this position will be Perth, WA. The key purpose of the role is to report to the Logistics Manager and assist with the acquisition, condition reporting and ongoing maintenance of various plant and equipment required to complete the project. As a large business that is carrying out works on an operating mine site, all plant and equipment must adhere to strict requirements and pass an initial inspection upon arrival. It is the plant and equipment coordinator’s role to source new plant as requested by the construction team, coordinate the site inspections, and ensure continued compliance throughout the project duration, as well as ensuring all maintenance is kept up to date.
What You ‘Can Do’
* Experience in the plant and equipment rental/sales industry, supply chain management, logistics or business administration.
* 1 to 2 years’ experience in similar role.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
* Competent in written and spoken English.
* Possess Australian driving license (HR preferred but not essential).
* Able to multi-task with minimum supervision.
* Ability to organise and prioritise work to meet competing demands.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Assets & Logistics Manager with the coordination of all assets across project sites.
* Coordinate trades team to effectively deliver facilities and asset maintenance.
* Coordinate plant and equipment including fleet management and maintenance.
* Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensuring compliance is met across the businesses asset systems.
