How will I help?

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide executive co-ordination and support to the Chief Finance Officer of Consumer and leadership team. The role is a central point of contact for the Consumer team including across other senior leaders, finance and our partners. The role requires exceptional interpersonal, communication, organisational and prioritisation skills, as well as a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality and attention to detail.

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Proactively manage CFO diary, agendas, commitments and emails including facilitating relevant approvals, audit trails and supporting papers / documentation
  • Organise meetings or event room bookings, guests, catering, travel management and or equipment (as required) including supporting the LT or broader team
  • Timely and accurate expense management – invoice approvals, pCards, eBuy, WEAPS, etc
  • Update CFO on matters requiring urgent or personal attention, with associated deadlines and relevant documentation
  • Manage Distribution Lists, secure / restricted site, meeting rooms, drives and other access
  • Finalisation of papers and timely delivery to GE Consumer office or Company Secretariat for distribution to Board and other Group Committees and forums 
  • Ensure on / off-boarding is accurately reflected in PeopleHQ (including new hires, transfers, secondment, separations)
  • Ensure remuneration changes, leave, people structures, training, compliance, Motivate requirements are clearly communicated and met

What do I need?

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and PDF (Nitro) packages.
  • Relevant experience in providing executive level administrative support. 
  • Comfortable operating at an Executive level and managing to tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in prioritising, organising and managing multiple tasks at one time.
  • Ability to work with and manage sensitive and confidential information and conversations.
  • Ability to operate through on-going change
