About the opportunity...
This is a newly created junior role, where you’ll support the Financial Controller and undertake various accounting duties and partner with business stakeholders to meet agreed objectives.
What you'll be doing...
- Conduct various reporting tasks (weekly, monthly, quarterly, year-end) for management and financial purposes.
- Manage inventory operations, including transfers, adjustments, cycle counts, reconciliations, and year-end counts.
- Handle consumer-related transactions for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and expense report processing.
- Support Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable processes and verify warranty returns.
- Process intercompany invoices and credits.
- Provide ERP support for accounting purposes and assist with process improvements.
- Provide backup support to Controller for financial tasks and inventory management.
- Assist in maintaining regulatory documents and preparing variance analysis.
- Aid in preparing weekly sales reporting and ad hoc analyses for management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related degree.
- CPA qualified or working towards CPA qualification.
- 2+ years' experience working in a similar role.
- Experience working in healthcare, FMCG or product related company.
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
- ERP systems savvy – experience using SAP preferred.
