About the Job:
This role is perfect for someone who has a keen interest in developing new processes and practices and wants to play a key role in a small but effective Finance Team. Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with all financial and statutory accounting requirements.
You will handle the timely processing and review of accounts, including bank reconciliation and compliance. In collaboration with the team, you will deliver accurate and quality reporting, preparation of statutory accounts, financial statements, journals, reconciliations and lodgements. You will also assist with accounts payable and receivable duties as required.
About You:
You have a desire to work within a team of high performers with high integrity in an exciting and growing business. You are someone who enjoys helping out where ever you can and is always keen to learn new skills and processes.
You have a strong work ethic, organised with great time management and you have ‘next level’ attention to detail. You are a degree qualified in Accounting, with at least 2 years of experience in a professional environment. Ideally, you also have a passion for the wine industry, viticulture and/or agriculture or at least a desire to learn more about it.
