We employ 300 staff at our Gillman head office and in our regional depots in Port Augusta, Whyalla, Port Pirie, Kadina, Clare, Berri and Victor Harbor. This network enables us to provide next-day express freight services to all South Australia (Metro and Regional), Broken Hill and Mildura.
We currently have a full-time position available for an experienced Finance Assistant.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will be responsible for managing invoicing processes including weekly freight, contracted or dedicated services as well other secondary revenue streams such as warehousing and freight levy. Vital to the role, will be ensuring the accurate and timely invoicing of revenues to optimise the conversion into cash and working with the data entry and other operation teams to improve the quality of data impacting the invoicing output.
About You
- Previous experience with invoicing and/or aligned processes.
- Speed, attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in processing high volume transactions.
- High level of numerical and analytical skill with previous experience with reconciliation processes.
- Process improvement focus and ability to collaborate with stakeholders to implement change.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with business systems software.
