Assistant Accountant

We are looking for a passionate Assistant Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have impeccable problem solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

• Cryptocurrency balance and currency value reconciliations
• Management of daily settlement requirements and execution of client fiat deposit and withdrawals

• End of month processes including but not limited to journal entries, expense reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
• Regular bank reconciliations
• Management of fixed assets register
• Manage financial information and data
• Introduce and maintain accounting processes
• Maintain internal control systems
• Assistance with external audit queries
• Bring new ideas and initiatives to drive change in the accounting space
• Ad-hoc projects and further business analysis

Requirements

To be considered for the position you must have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. You should also meet the following requirements:•

• Confident working with Microsoft Excel
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
• An adaptable working attitude and positive approach are crucial to success in this role
• Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent

Highly Regarded

• Knowledge and understanding of Cryptocurrencies
• Proficient with Oracle Netsuite
