AddressGLT Trailers, a manufacturer of the highest-quality, bespoke bulk freight trailers, is actively seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our team. Based in Carole Park, Queensland, we pride ourselves on our meticulous attention to detail and customer-centric approach to manufacturing. As we set our sights on ambitious growth targets, this role offers a unique opportunity to bolster our operational capacity.
Roles and Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Selected account reconciliations
- Payroll function (drafting payruns, paying superannuation)
- Working alongside a part time resource to manage the accurate data entry of invoices
- Pursuing outstanding invoices and addressing related queries
- Assisting with financial inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Facilitating document management processes, including scanning, storing, and archiving financial administrative materials
- Performing additional administrative tasks as necessary
Qualification and Experience
Ideal candidates will have:
- A tertiary degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Relevant experience within a manufacturing environment and familiarity with standard costing inventory systems (a bonus but not required)
- Experience in Microsoft Business Central and Employment Hero Payroll (nice to have but not mandatory)
