Have you recently completed year 12 or are you currently completing a Bachelor of Commerce or Business majoring in Accounting? Do you seek practical experience to enhance your ongoing university studies? Do you seek career progression in a supportive and dynamic environment?
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a keen eye for detail who can take on the role of Assistant Accountant. Previous experience in a professional services firm or accounting position is desirable but not essential.
The successful candidate will gain skills and experience working in a mixture of tax compliance and business advisory matters. You will be working within a team, but will also have the opportunity to work independently with clients also. Flexible working arrangement and work from home options considered in the longer term
Ideally a successful candidate will have (preferable but not essential) :
- Partly completed or nearing completion of a Bachelor of Business/Commerce majoring in accounting
- Excellent organisation and communications skills
- Experience with XERO, MYOB, QBO
- Desire to become CA or CPA qualified
- Previous Accounting Role Experience
- Hold a current drivers license
