Devlyn Construction is privately owned and has been established in Western Australia for over 33 years. We are a leading commercial construction contractor that specialises in delivering projects across a range of sectors in WA’s metropolitan and regional locations.
We currently looking for a talented Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team, based in our Canning Vale office.
THE ROLE
As an Assistant Accountant with Devlyn you will be required to complete a number of Finance and administrative tasks within the team in a collaborative manner.
This is a unique opportunity to enhance and grow your finance career. You will work in a small team and be mentored by the CFO, liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and other key stakeholders.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Assist with data entry of Invoices, POs, contract claims and other items;
- Reconciling creditor statements;
- Completion of bank and other balance sheet reconciliations;
- Cost analysis;
- Assisting with month end activities; and
- Other ad hoc tasks as required.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful with Devlyn, the ideal candidate will have:
- At least 2 years experience in a similar role;
- Have used Coins or similar ERP system;
- Be service orientated;
- Excellent computer literacy;
- Have excellent attention to detail;
- Have good time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload;
- Strong interpersonal skills; and
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
