They offer 2 days a week working from home.
The Role
The Assistant Accountant role will be responsible for:
- Assist with the month-end tasks, including monthly journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting in preparing Management Reports
- Producing weekly and monthly reports both internal and external
- Fixed assets Reconciliation
- Maintain Fixed assets register and process monthly depreciation
- Work in Progress Reconciliation
- Manage intercompany transactions and journals
- Bank reconciliation assistance where required
- Preparation of Monthly Billing
- Assist in audit tasks across the Group
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets
Your Background
Our client is looking to hire someone with the following background:
- Currently an Assistant Accountant with some month-end reporting tasks – journals, prepayments, accruals
- Currently studying your CA or CPA qualification
- Great communication skills and someone who is confident engaging with stakeholders across the business
If you have any experience in Advertising/Media, that would be highly regarded but is not essential.
