You're a few years into a fledgling accounting career and so far you've covered the basics. You're also pretty damn handy with Excel and managing random dumps of data where the software doesn't quite give you an accurate picture.
Why is this useful? Well, we need someone who can work with the CFO to drive some automation projects on a strategic journey of change in finance for the region.
You'll be responsible for the Australia / New Zealand region which is part of the broader Asia Pacific group of a global multinational. However, with a lack of focus over the previous 10-15 years, there is much to do to bring reporting, forecasting, treasury, month-end, accounts payable, tax compliance and lots of other financial reports in line with expected standards from the business.
You'll be taught and mentored by a CFO with global experience who is driving this change.
You'll be given the scope to explore automating and bringing ideas forth about how to improve the value of finance to the commercial teams.

What we need from You:
- A curious mind when it comes to interacting with the business.
- An accounting diploma or degree.
- Experience in a less automated environment where you really understand the mechanism of how the numbers work.
- Excel - specifically be confident working with multiple data sets and being able to make sense out of manual processes.
- A desire to automate and be a driver of the solutions.
