Your new role
Working in either our Melbourne or Sydney office, you will support the Finance and Operations Manager with a varied range of accounting tasks, allowing you the opportunity to grow and develop in a supportive and collaborative environment. Your key responsibilities include:
- Management of the Accounts Payable process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions.
- Completion of employee expenses and credit card reconciliations with precisio
- Management of monthly client invoicing/adjustments and assist in setting up new clients on accounting systems (Xero and WorkflowMax).
- Preparation of payroll and support with all payroll queries, contributing to the smooth operation of our financial systems.
- Assisting with the preparation of the annual FBT return, workers comp insurance and payroll tax.
- Involvement in ad hoc project work, showcasing your versatility and contributing to the continuous improvement of our financial processes.
A bit about you
- You have completed an undergraduate degree in accounting and/or hold a CPA qualification or in the process of completing.
- You exhibit confident and professional communication with colleagues and enjoy working collaboratively.
- You have an aptitude for software, systems and technology and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with Xero and WorkflowMax software is preferred but not essential.
- You’re proactive in maintaining client relationships and understand and incorporate stakeholders and customer needs into decision making.
