Talkabout is a family own and run business that has been operating in Perth since 1999. The predominate role for Talkabout is to house international students into family homes working with local universities, international agents and of course many local families. Due to the nature of the business, we have a large home office in Bicton, with a small but happy staff. Looking for someone to compliment the team. Qualifications & experience
- Essential: Excellent understanding and working knowledge of Xero accounting systems.
- Essential: Ability to work independently and part of a team.
- Essential: Strong attention to details and accurate recordings.
- Essential: Strong time management and ability to handle conflicting priorities.
- Essential: Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Experience dealing with a vast array of demographics.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Accurately input financial data, including invoices, receipts, and reports.
- Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments.
- Track payments and maintain invoice system and follow up on monthly invoicing and overdue accounts.
- Communicate with stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
- Make regular payments through internet banking.
- Daily reconciliation of accounts and associated communications with relevant stakeholders when required.
- Work closely with accountant, Accounts Manager and relevant office staff.
- Handle general administrative tasks that pertain to your portfolio of accounts independently.
- Maintain organized financial records and filing systems.
- Utilize accounting software xero.
