Accounts Assistant
About the role
Australian Training Management Pty Ltd is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and has delivered quality focussed Nationally Recognised Training qualifications and training services in the Civil and Building Construction, Mining, Transport and Logistics for 30 years. Due to continued growth and a demand for our reliable and trusted services, an opportunity now exists for an experienced and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of bookkeeping and accounts.
This is a part-time position, ideally on a 7 day fortnight roster.
Duties/responsibilities:
- To provide support to the Accounts Manager
- Accounts Payable - Payments, credit card reconciliation, statement reconciliation
- Accounts Receivable - Invoicing, payments, debt collection
- Bank Reconciliations
- Payroll
- Management of accounts email inbox
- Assistance with month end procedures
- Provide accounts and admin support
Essential to the role you will have
- Enthusiastic self-starter; punctual and well presented
- Attention to detail when processing information and data
- Knowledge of RTOs and the VET industry desirable.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
- Experience in MYOB
- Minimum 3 years experience in accounts
