The Role
Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager (SBM), the Assistant Brand Manager (ABM) will support the development and execution of annual brand strategies, content and integrated support plans aligned to the global Bellamy’s Organic brand guidelines. Primarily for the Australia Market but also in support of ROW growth.
Core Responsibilities
- Brand Positioning, Asset Development & Training: Support the SBM with maintaining brand guidelines, asset library and training presentations.
- Brand Strategy & Planning: Assist the SBM in developing long- and short-term strategic brand plans, across Social, Digital, PR, Shopper and Shelf, aligned to global brand direction as well as local market needs.
- Category & Retailer Planning: Support the development of strategic retailer reviews and execution plans by preparing category data for review.
- Marketing Budget: Assist SBM with regular invoice processing and monthly reconciliation of spend vs plan with finance team.
- Communications Marketing Execution Management: Work with SBM to manage the execution of integrated communication plans across relevant marketing channels, primarily Social, Digital, Reviews, Influencer, and Website.
- Shopper Marketing Execution Management: Work with SBM to manage the excellent execution of tailored Retailer, Shopper & Shelf executions that support overall brand strategy and through-the-line execution.
- Market Awareness & Analysis: Monitor and evaluate competitor launches and industry trends to identify opportunities and propose initiatives. Regular store visits and desk research to keep up-to-date with competitor activity for review and inspiration.
- Brand Performance Analysis & Reporting: Support with monthly preparation of brand performance report (KPI Scorecard) and any other business reports for internal or global management.
- Product & Portfolio: Maintain a deep understanding of all products in the portfolio. Assist with future innovation and packaging marketing execution.
- SEA and ROW Support: Key point of contact to provide and review brand assets for SEA and other ROW markets.
- Market Research: Support with execution of market research.
- Administration: Regular updates to Marketing Activity Calendar and Assets Library, support with Invoice processing, Sample Stock orders and any other brand administrative needs.
To be successful in this role you will have.
- At least 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience using and interpreting Circana data.
- Experience in planning and executing integrated annual brand plans, across social, search, website, event and shopper channels.
- Experience creating content and executing across digital channels in particular social, SEO, website and CRM.
- Experience working with external agencies.
- Experience in FMCG, baby categories and/ or infant formula category is desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, nutrition or similar.
