Assistant Centre Administration Officer

Our NSW Government client is hiring for a highly capable Assistant Centre Administration Officer to join their organisation. The main focus of this role is to undertake administrative tasks as well as warehousing and store tasks - there is a requirement to have a current forklift licence and a willingness to undertake forklift driving duties.
Role Title: Assistant Centre Administration officer
Contract Length: Till 04/04/2024
Pay: $38 + Super per hour. Working hours are Monday to Friday 7am-3pm.
Location: Onsite at Cessnock.
Role Requirements:

• Main responsibilities include processing incoming and outgoing goods, picking and packing orders, delivery of goods into centre, unloading delivery trucks and unpacking the contents of packages and helping to maintain a well-organised warehouse.
• Complying with safety regulations to ensure a safe work environment. Maintain manual and computerized records pertaining to the work area, accurately and securely ensuring these are accessible.
• Respond efficiently to all inquiries by stakeholders, customers and clients, escalating and referring, if necessary to the relevant areas in accordance with the local practice and protocol.
• Undertaking accurate and consistent work within a high volume and changing environment.
• Essential requirements: Current driver's licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle in the course of performing the role. Current forklift licence required, and willingness to undertake forklift driving duties.

Candidates must be based in the surrounds of Cessnock/ local areas and must possess existing full working rights in Australia.
