- Appropriate Bachelor Degree; accredited by the Australian Institute of Radiography and registered with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
- Management Qualifications and/or equivalent work experience and current high level of practical experience and knowledge in all aspects of a Medical Imaging Department within a hospital setting.
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective and efficient delivery of patient care utilising rostering methods and staffing arrangements which are in line with quality human resource management practices and budget allocation.
- Demonstrated experience and ability to supervise and lead multidisciplinary teams with skills in fostering the continuing professional development of staff and a commitment to ensuring staff mandatory compliances.
- Skills and experience in theatre, fluoroscopy, mobiles, trauma and general radiography. Experience in one or more specialty modalities (CT, MRI, Ultrasound or Angiography) within a hospital setting.
- Competence in financial management to demonstrate service provision is delivered in an effective and efficient manner, including use of PACS/RIS to inform decisions.
- Current AHPRA accreditation, Radiation Licence (IA14/G1) and current unencumbered Drivers Licence.
