Your role

The Executive Assistant to the ChiefExecutive Officer works in a fast-paced environment coordinating activities, performing high-level administration, secretarial and executive support services; while ensuring tasks are communicated, delegated and completed within required timeframes.
What you’ll do
- Effectively manage the Chief Executive Officer’s diary, emails, correspondence, invitations, meetings, briefings, and other documents.
- Respond to calls and emails as the principal point of contact for the Chief Executive Officer; guide inquiries from Minister’s offices, NSW Government executives and external stakeholders including community groups, responding to matters in a timely manner.
- Research, draft and prepare correspondence or other documents to a high standard for the Chief Executive Officer’s approval.
- Coordinate key projects including recruitment projects, staff and community events, research, and business analysis.
- Ensure matters are dealt with in a timely manner by actioning, and escalating decisions and resolutions of the Chief Executive Officer.
- Support the Multicultural NSW Advisory Board, Chairperson, and members by facilitating meetings, invitations, briefings minutes, travel, and accommodation.
- Oversee office management, security, administration supplies, records management, building management and repairs.
- Supervising and allocating work to the Concierge, providing advice and guidance.
What we’re looking for
In addition to meeting the essential requirements, the successful applicant will have:
- Experience in assessing and prioritising requests and workload to support the CEO
- A strong focus on customer service and ethics.
- High proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word and PowerPoint)
- An understanding of public sector processes and procedures or willingness to learn
