About the Role:
As the Assistant Clinical Advisor, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining robust clinical governance systems. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you'll ensure compliance with quality standards, promote evidence-based care, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The position is permanent part-time (3 days per week - Wednesday to Friday),
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement effective clinical governance systems.
- Monitor and assess clinical practices, identifying areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain policies, protocols, and guidelines in line with regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance, education, and training on clinical governance principles.
- Coordinate consumer-centred care, advocating for their rights and preferences.
- Contribute to strategies enhancing client safety and minimizing clinical risks.
- Participate in incident investigations, recommending preventive measures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and research findings for evidence-based decision-making.
- Provide leadership and support to clinical teams, promoting accountability and transparency.
About you:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
- Experience in clinical practice and delivery of complex health contexts for aged care
- Experience in quality, compliance, auditing and continuous improvement highly desirable
- High levels of computer competence and comprehensive report writing capability
- The ability to influence and work cooperatively to foster positive change, providing support and leadership
