- Diploma of Childrens Services or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assist the Director to supervise the creation and implementation of developmentally appropriate educational programs.
- Assist the Director as appropriate to consult with families and outside agencies.
- Assist the Director to prepare and implement the Quality Improvement Plan.
- Assist the Director with compliance with approved Provider obligations and corporate governance.
- Assist the Director to recruit staff, provide professional development and maintain employment records, including contracts and position descriptions.
- Assist the Director to manage all administrative matters, including preparing financial reports, information to funding authorities, maintain insurances, bank accounts and manage cash flows.
- Engage with educators and children in the rooms.
- Provide data and reports to the Director in relation to compliance with approved provider obligations.
- Perform payroll management functions and adherence to Workplace Laws and Regulations.
- Undertake the role of the Centre Director when required.
