Perry st is seeking a dedicated person to fill this role in our highly regarded centre. You must have a genuine passion and commitment for community-based early childhood education and care. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in an leadership position.
The successful candidate will work in partnership with the director and assist in all facets of managing a busy centre. You will work collaboratively with an experienced team of teachers and educators delivering high quality early childhood education and care. You must share in the values and philosophies of the Perry st community and be able to assist in leading the team in delivering a quality early learning program that aligns with the centre philosophy and Quality Improvement Plan.
This is an ongoing full-time role with remuneration well above the Professional Child Care Standard rates of pay. You will work a 9 day fortnight with a rostered day off. Perry St is committed to the protection of children and employees are expected to comply with child safe standards, policy and and Perry St Code of Conduct.
A Bachelor of Early childhood qualification is preferred.
Significant experience in Long day care - preferably in a leadership role.
Current Working with Children Check or Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration
Deep working understanding of the National Law and Regulations, National Quality Standard, EYLF, VEYLDF and Oh&S.
