The Enterprise Strategy and Governance Division supports the Executive to drive the agency's strategic direction, providing a whole of agency perspective and coordinated strategic view. The Division is a central hub, working with groups across the Agency, as well as with external stakeholders including Department of Social Services and central agencies. Our four branches – Enterprise Strategy, Governance, Ministerial and Parliamentary and Performance, Priorities and Reporting – support the agency’s executive and the Minister for Government Services in achieving enterprise outcomes.
As an Assistant Director, you will support work to deliver high quality and timely strategic products, appropriately reflecting the direction of the agency’s and government priorities. You will demonstrate excellent research, analytical and problem solving skills, and will consult and collaborate across agency business areas, policy and central agencies to contribute to a sound evidence base.
The role requires sound judgement and the ability to represent the branch and agency at various forums. Successful candidates will be self-motivated strategic thinkers with well-developed leadership qualities.
A thorough understanding of Parliamentary and Cabinet process will be highly regarded.
