The Assistant Director role
We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is able to motivate, lead and encourage others. Someone who has excellent communication skills who has experience in working with teams and families, and aligns with the services values, policies and procedures. Someone who has enthusiasm for continuous improvement and professional development.
The role includes:
- To support the Director in managing the centre's day-to-day operations maintaining a high standard
- Create strong rapport with the children, parents and educators
- Mentor and support the centre to meet/exceed the National Quality Standards
- Inspire and lead the team of educators in establishing and maintaining a positive and fun working environment
- Establish and maintain a healthy learning environment that children can thrive in
Requirements:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or above (ACECQA approved) or equivalent.
- First aid and CPR
- Valid WWCC or willing to obtain
- Police clearance (less than 12 months old)
- The ability to advocate and implement the educational program
- Previous leadership experience is desirable
