The centre We are currently recruiting for a lovely 120 place ELC with Kindergarten seeking an Assistant Director . The centre is well established and operating to high quality. They have a lovely outdoor space for the children to explore with an abundance of resources. The center is a part of a larger group where you will have the opportunity to liaise and network with other leaders in the organisation. The center has a funded 3 and 4 year old kindergarten.
The role
We are looking for a diploma or bachelor trained Assistant Director to work in collaboration with the center manager to run a high quality ELC which meets the needs of all children and families who attend. The ideal candidate will have experience with all age groups and can provide a warm, caring, safe and secure environment! Our client is looking for the right person who has strong knowledge of the EYLF , experienced within a leadership role and is passionate and confident to build positive relationships with children and their families. This role would be office based 2 days and 3 days floating throughout each room.
Essentials
Diploma in Children’s services or above
Current approved first aid qualification, anaphylaxis management and asthma management
Current Working with Children Check
Good understanding of the EYLF
