About the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (the NDIS Commission) is an independent agency established on 1 July 2018 to improve the quality and safety of
NDIS supports and services. The Commission is the dedicated national regulator of NDIS service providers in Australia and a non-corporate entity under the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013.
Key duties of the role
Reporting to the Director, ICT Operations, you will contribute to strategic and future planning for the Commission’s IT environment through the ongoing development of the NDIS Commission’s technology roadmap.
Responsibilities of the role will include but are not be limited to:
- Operational management of the Commission’s outsourced services provider, ensuring an ongoing positive relationship;
- Stakeholder and relationship management and development with senior executive staff;
- Management and oversight of the internal ICT Support Desk services and team;
- Ensuring the Support Desk team have performance agreements in place and actively monitor performance;
- Analysis of national trends in Support Desk delivery and implementation of outcomes;
- Ensuring a consistent positive operational experience for ICT users and that the Support Desk remains within agreed SLAs;
- Contributing to the development of a future roadmap for ICT systems;
- Delivery of outcomes as agreed with the CIO;
Capability of our ideal candidate
Our ideal candidate will be a multifaceted and driven leader, whilst having a positive contemporary attitude to people with disability and have the following capabilities:
- extensive experience in ICT operational management;
- a proven track record and demonstrated ability in leading and managing service delivery teams, which can include competing complex work to ensure positive customer outcomes and customer service standards are met;
- lead, promote and implement change with a customer focused culture and persuasive communicator who can influence and negotiate with a breadth of stakeholders;
- current knowledge of ICT hardware/applications/standard operating environment relevant to the Commission;
