The role:

We are seeking a Permanent Full Time Early Childhood Assistant Director/Educational Leader to join our exceptional team at our Early Learning Centre in Launceston.

You must have:

• Tertiary Qualification in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Minimum Diploma qualified with extensive relevant experience in a similar role 
• Current employment class, Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable Persons Registration.
• Ability to obtain a satisfactory Police Check.
• Outstanding communication skills that result in strong workplace relationships based on respect and trust.

Your service:

Launceston Early Learning Centre is a state-of-the art service located above the Launceston Health Hub in Wellington Street.  This exceptional purpose built facility was established in November 2019.  Our service is within walking distance from the Launceston General Hospital and is easily accessed from Wellington Street, making it the perfect location for families that live and work in the local community.

Our service provides a warm and inviting environment where we welcome and nurture children and embrace families as partners in our community of learners.  We respect childhood and the value of time to be, to play, and to create.

Launceston Early Learning Centre operates from 6:30 am – 10:30 pm Monday to Friday with extended hours (from 6:30pm to 10:30pm) only rostered when required.  We cater for children aged birth to 5, across 6 developmentally and age appropriate rooms.
