Salary Range – Level 1 $53,864 - $63,061

Desert Accounting & Business Support (DABS) is a not-for-profit organisation based in East Perth providing a comprehensive outsourced Human Resources, Payroll and Accounting service to Indigenous organisations and other organisations providing Native Title services, Indigenous Health and Community services, and Ranger programs in remote WA.

We are seeking someone who is:

• Solution focused, takes responsibility, and does the research and analysis and presents options.

• Adaptable to changing priorities and enjoys variety of work.

• Successful in a fast-paced environment

• A great communicator, proactive in their approach and is clear in meaning.

• Great at working independently but is collaborative within a small team environment.

• Capable of quickly establishing relationships

To be considered for this position, it is essential that you:

• Previous experience working in an aboriginal or culturally diverse organisation.

• Experience in data management.

• Experience using shared file management systems.

• Qualification in accounting or administration would be advantageous.

• Good communication skills, with a proven ability to be able to communicate respectfully and effectively with a range of people from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
