Job DescriptionReporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring and motivating your team while ensuring they deliver professional, efficient, and consistent service standards. This is a hands-on role, where you will oversee the service of
Food & Beverage, with a constant focus on providing excellent guest experiences while exceeding in your ability to train hospitality staff through tailored programs, staying updated with industry trends.Furthermore, your duties will also include;
- Ensure the service of food and beverage within the restaurant, room service, conferencing, and occasional residential catering are at a consistently high standard.
- Aligning staff initiatives such as recruitment and training for maximum efficiency.
- Ensure constant liaison with the Conference & Events Executive, Marketing Executive, and Head Chef in order to maximise F&B profits.
- Liaise with customers and the kitchen team to ensure service times are adhered to and ensure a seamless operation between front and back of house operations and a positive working environment.
- Ensure guest billing is completed accurately following Hotel procedure and that correct charges are posted.
- Set up systems to protect and maintain control of restaurant and conference service equipment, correctly recording breakages and carry our regular stock takes.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate should possess:- Several years of experience in the restaurant industry, particularly in a high-end restaurant or hotel;
- Previous experience in managing staff and restaurant operations is essential;
- Knowledge of wines and experience as a sommelier would be advantageous.
- A genuine love for and interest in all thing's food and beverage.
