Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to expand our market share and enhance our business opportunities. This role involves strategic planning, improving existing relationships with customers, identifying new market opportunities, and driving business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
- Manage a portfolio of existing clients and acquire new clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit.
- Work closely with the marketing department to identify potential marketing activities and strategies.
Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a Business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role.
- Strong knowledge of the landscaping and building materials industry and related products.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
