A.B. Paterson College is seeking a professional and enthusiastic Assistant Head of Faculty in our Learning Enhancement Team across Prep to Year 12. Potential applicants will have the ability to support students across a range of ages, diagnoses and academic strengths and have a passion for inclusive education. The successful candidate will show an ability to lead and support staff and assist with the logistical organisation of a large faculty made up of teachers and learning assistants.
This is a permanent role starting in Term 2 of 2024 and comes with both a teaching and case management load.

Your Responsibilities:

Position Description
Knowledge of the following will be highly regarded:
- ARAA applications
- NCCD procedures and moderation
- Assistive technology
- Microsoft Office skills
- IEP and support plan creation and review.
- TASS
- Complex case management
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to work with, lead and support a varied team and work collaboratively with students, families, specialists, classroom teachers, middle management, senior leadership and other stakeholders.
- Junior, secondary, and senior school experience will be considered
- A strong background and sound knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and QCAA syllabus
- Together with up-to-date skills in the use of IT and other digital classroom resources
- Up to date CPR and first aid training or willing to obtain
- Current Teacher Registration is a requirement for this position
