- Full-time maximum term position to 30 June 2024

We are currently seeking applications for an Assistant HR Officer. If successful, you will be responsible for undertaking a variety of human resources related administrative duties including: compiling and accurately updating employee records; preparing basic reports relating to staffing, recruitment, training and performance evaluations; ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of all queries; providing support with HR Systems; coordinating HR policies, processes and relevant documents and assisting with payroll preparation by providing relevant data as required.
To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:
- A minimum of a Diploma of Business (Human Resources) or Diploma of Human Resources or equivalent; AND/OR
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a similar position
- Preference will be given to applicants with administrative experience using EmpowerHR; Ceridian Recruitment & Onboarding; and Jemini
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with fluent written English skills
- Strong Customer Service skills with ability to convince others to follow expected processes skills
- Ability to communicate complicated issues clearly and in a way able to understood by others
- Excellent computer skills including the ability to effectively use and create simple reports from HR information systems
- Demonstrated initiative and capacity to think and act independently
- Demonstrated positive values of integrity, reliability, teamwork and professionalism consistent with the AMES Australia Vision and Mission and demonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvement principles
