Opportunity to join a large and well-established HR team, providing service to the workforce that serve our community.
About the role:
The Assistant Human Resource (HR) Business Consultant is responsible for the provision of timely and quality HR advice and support on a range of operational HR policies and procedures. The successful applicant will work closely with the Senior HR Business Partner to contribute to the provision of effective and engaging HR Business Partnering services for the organisation. Duties will include:
- Assist and support managers in the areas of classification management, industrial relations, training and development, HR Governance and compliance, recruitment and selection, and redeployment.
- Identify and research issues and contribute to building relationships with the business.
- Support managers and staff, as well as promoting and modelling contemporary HR best practices within the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN).
About you:
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Demonstrated sound interpersonal and communication skills consistent with providing high quality customer service.
- Experience in the provision of advice to staff and management in a range of general Human Resource matters.
- Ability to work as a member of a team, contribute to a spirit of team co-operation and provide support and guidance to other staff members when required.
- Excellent organisational skills that deliver work to strict deadlines, including sound prioritisation in a busy environment with conflicting demands.
- Demonstrated ability to handle and manage confidential and sensitive information.
